Alternative Seed Treatment Methods for Control of Septoria petroselini on Parsley Seed
نویسندگان
چکیده
Septoria leaf blight caused by the fungus petroselini is one of major and important diseases in parsley occurring many countries. The use high quality seeds conditions for an efficient crop production. As a seedborne, clean certified disease control especially organic farming. Resistance inducers, commercially formulated non-formulated selected bacterial strains were applied as seed treatments on naturally infested tested under controlled field conditions. Most these had positive effect germination. Among seven resistance inducers greenhouse experiments, Jasmonic acid best result increased germination 25.6%. All three commercial products experimental strain Bacillus subtilis K3 number plants, yield decreased incident significantly experiments. bacteria reduced infection 70% 24%. Results indicate that several options non-chemical this pathogen exist can be recommended better quantity

Update on SEED: SEED-192/256
SEED is a 128-bit block cipher with a 128-bit secret key. Since it supports only a 128-bit secret key, it is difficult to apply this algorithm to various environments. In this paper, we propose SEED192/256 which support 192/256-bit secret keys, respectively. Also we evaluate the security these algorithms against well-known attacks and the software performance of them on PC environments.
متن کاملMethods for overcoming seed dormancy in jimsonweed (Datura stramonium L.)
This study aimed to examine dormancy-breaking of jimsonweed seeds. Seeds were collected from Hamedan. They were subjected to different treatments: (a) concentrated sulfuric acid for 1, 1.5, and 2 min; (b) hot water at 80°C and 90°C for 5 and 10 min; (c) mechanical scarification with sandpaper; (d) light exposure for 10, 20, and 30 days; and (e) fluctuating temperature (5–15°C). The highest germ...
متن کاملEffects of treatment methods on the nutritional value of cotton seed cake for laying hens
The effects of treatment methods on the nutritive value of cotton seed cake (CSC) for laying hens were examined. Olympia laying hens (n = 96) were assigned randomly to a 2 × 3 factorial combination of fermented or unfermented CSC supplemented with enzyme, Vitamin E and ferrous sulphate over a 4-week feeding period. CSC was incorporated at 15% in the diets. Results showed no significant differen...
